Established firstly to enable me to insure
the quality & speedy turnaround of the paint stripping and restoration process for my core business,
-buying & restoring antique furniture,
to be sold though my shop in Cirencester or London.
It didn’t take the rest of the
antique trade long to realise that we held a knowledgeable advantage & larger capacity than their existing restoration
contacts,
& so before we knew it, from 1989
our services were helping to fill shipping containers on a monthly basis to America
& beyond,
full to the brim with the most wonderful
things.
Complete 17th century oak
panelled rooms/stone & wooden statues & furniture to die for, and along the way far to many to count hard &softwood
doors, for various architectural companies, not to mention the general public – who found us able to remove the hard
lacquers from modern kitchen units & modern pine & garden furniture!
All of this has helped me to expand &
refine our processes.
In 1998 I closed my shop, heading for
a more satisfying ”hands on” approach, or a least one that didn’t involve quite so much driving around in
circles!
